@matchbox555 I wouldn't say something like Strawberry Fields because if you know anything about the Beatles you would know Strawberry Fields is Lennon song. I was comparing McCartney to McCartney. See? OK, I used "Here, There, and Everywhere" as an earlier illustration of what I was saying. You can't call that a simple song. (Actually, neither is Penny Lane, you try writing that). Either song is far superior to Get Back. Look, if you like it, you like it. Good for you.Still a throwaway for Mac.

@matchbox555 I guess this is just a useless debate. If you like get back then I guess you have simple tastes that are very easy to please. And there's nothing wrong with that. It's a matter of personal taste. But please, if you know anything at all about music, and you play "Penny Lane" for instance, and "Get Back" one right after the other. I really don't see how there is an argument about the fact it's an inferior song by a genius songwriter. It's a little ditty at best, nothing more. Fact.

@daliraygun Simple is never bad. I did have a lot of songs that's why all four of them produced very successful albums after breaking up with all the stored songs they had. Either way, I still enjoy Get Back. Certainly it's not their best but it still beats anything on the charts today.

@TyVerte I'm afraid not. It's a crappy, simple song that would have been a throwaway in their prime. Like it or not. In the end they didn't have a lot of Beatles songs. Which is why the medley on Abbey Road exists in that form. Read up. Do your homework. I'm totally right.
