Haha, so glad it's not just me!! :) You shouldn't let it put you off other products, I use lots of them and this is the only product I've tested that has that smell! It should just have an ordinary tan smell, that's not so bad! :)

Maybe they've changed the fragrance/formula now because I've just tried it, and it doesn't smell. Smells of vanilla. Now I have a pretty sensitive nose, so go into Superdrug and have a whiff of it now, it's really ok! First day of trying it so will let you know about the tan.

I Have It, It Smells Horrible! I Thought It Smells Like Play Dough But My Mum Thinks It Smells Like Marzipan! And It Stayed On My Clothes..The Smell Wont Come Of Them! :O

My mum is really sensitive to smells as well, and she and my dad wanted me to throw it out because they said it stunk the whole house out. I think it's not so much the scent (it smells a bit like vanilla mixed with old lady's perfume), but that it smells so much, and everyone can smell it on your skin.

even in the bottle mine smells like playdoh i think it goes off and smells nasty, although i brought it for £1 so it wasn't a splurge on my account, this really helped:)xx

Mine smelt nice at first, but now smells like play-doh - i think the horrible smell develops when it become's old....I got mine last summer and went to use it today and it smelt gross!
