@sexiwebcamboy Apocalypto was anaylised by a very senior and well renowned Mayan archaeologist, Richard D. Hansen. His profound studies in Guatemala and assistant professor at the University of Idaho, Mirador Basin Project in Guatemala (a forest reserve home to a number of Maya archaeological sites) overlooked the authenticity of the film. This proves that the scenes in the movie were indeed very real to the actual lifestyle of the Maya culture. I will inbox you for further proof.

@sexiwebcamboy you're wrong, sacrifice was widespread among the Mayans during the later years of the post classic era. Murals at Bonampk depict priests wrenching lint knives into the hearts of victims (Men, women and children, slaves and enemy captives) and their entrails ripped out. They were a very bloodthirsty and savage people. The movie has it spot on! I know you leftists don't like reality but I'm sorry, this is how it was. The Aztecs and Mayans were almost identical in violence.

Simply going to google and typing "maya sacrifice" brings over 1 million websites, many of them credible, which state that the Maya did sacrifice people, even children, as evidence shows, but they did not do it on a large scale like the Aztecs.
