Every 15 Minutes: Castro Valley High School 2012

The Every 15 Minutes program is very close to our hearts here at Rocket Spots (http://www.rocketspots.tv). This is the broadcast version of our Every 15 Minutes: San Leandro High School 2011. Because of television constraints, we had to trim it down to less than 30 minutes.

As part of that process, we took a new look at the story, and think we came up with a different, maybe more affecting version of this tragic story.

This is the version broadcast in December 2011, and this is the version submitted for Emmy consideration. While we loved the original cut, but this is something really special.

We produced it at San Leandro High School April, 2011 with the help of Eden Medical Center and the California Highway Patrol.

This is an example of RocketSpots.tv's level of quality in the area of community service video production. In June 2011, we were recognized with an Emmy for achievement in informational/instructional videos, and will be submitting this video for similar consideration. We like it that much. these videos are just people acting. BUT they are real life situations. The in loving memory credits are real people who died from drunk driving accidents.

I think it's because they want to show what the consequences are for the designated drivers. So if the driver did get seriously injured then they couldn't show them going to jail, going to court, etc. If the girl got injured she couldn't talk to the police either.
