I've run out of things to say about the great super rocking drumming of these songs. I love this drummer's style, he plays some really fun licks in every song.
I play all songs through my headphones from an iPod, then mix the video on iMovie with the song from iTunes. Unfortunately, my iPod plays the songs slightly faster, about 1/2 a second over 6 minutes. Therefore, I filmed one take from each side and then broke the video into a few pieces for both dubbing and a more interesting video.
It is critical that every drummer develop their own unique style and interpretation. Therefore, I do not memorize any song exactly. I have spent 30 years playing drums and have developed my own style, which I prefer. I keep my playing within the framework of the song and will play a part exact if that part is either iconic (like Phil Collins In The Air Tonight) or critical to the success of the song.
