Thanks. Good to see how it handles video though WMP may not be the best tool for it. My P4 struggles in a similar way with 1080 but Linux on the same machine handles it better.

Thanks :)

Yup, you've got it! That's the one.

Nice :) Is it called KMPlayer?

Thanks for the vid. Since it seems to play back 720p so well I'll definitely be buying it. Only thing I want it for is portable anime and maybe a movie here and there.

Hasn't it a single core processor?
I think I saw two cores on the CPU load demonstration of this video at 1' 57".

The Atom uses Hyper-Threading technology, This means that only one processor is physically present but the operating system sees two virtual processors, and shares the workload between them. Hyper-threading requires only that the operating system support multiple processors, but Intel recommends disabling HT when using operating systems that have not been optimized for the technology. That's courtesy of wikipedia dude. I couldn't explain it lol

Install KMP (hint: not that K-Media Player thingy), and you'll be able to watch them 1080p showcase videos just fine. Heck, WMP is rubbish, at least on netbooks.
