I'm not a NASCAR fan, but this preacher had a little fun with the pre-race prayer, doing his version of Ricky Bobby

  • I think its refreshing to see someone talk to the Lord in a normal voice instead of trying to appear holier than thou. There isn't a guide on how you talk to Him. There is no right or wrong way. The Lord hears all prayers. Not just the ones spoken in a manner that a select group thinks they should be spoken in. And if he thinks his wife is "smokin hot", then to him, she is. Isn't that what any wife wants her husband to feel about her? You don't have to be stuffy and boring to be a Christian!!!

  • @hambonehandy If we as humans, have a sense of humor, it is because our " Creator " has a sense of humor. Lighten up! This Pastor got the National Spotlight and used it to Glorify God in a funny, creative way...

  • God will listen to you anyway

  • I don't understand why people act like this is such a disgrace? Ffnnremtp said it well, I mean look at the comments of people saying they would want to go to his church. I am a Christian 100%, and I know for a fact that uptight preachers with a monotone voice who thinks it's wrong to have fun or joke around most deffinently do not draw in people to hear the word of God. And who are you to judge saying " this man was not called to preach", that's like me saying you aren't a christian.

  • @curtishagy really?

  • That man was NOT called to preach

  • "To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. " ~ 1 Corinthians 9:19-23

With wit, relevance and reverence he did indeed give thanks for "all things" and in the process brought others a desire to go to church and hear more. I'd definately go to Pastor Joe's Church and by his use of humor he will bring others to seek and find salvation.

  • that was awesome i would like visit his church lol

  • @VivoTheGreat How about you shut up? I believe you need a refresher course in church...if you call a fundamentalist Christian someone who believes completely in the Bible and that says treating God with disrespect like in this video is sin, then call me that!

  • Thank you dear lord baby Jesus.

  • Come on guys u missed the whole point of his prayer. In all things give thanks. We should be thankful for all the jobs that NASCAR provides! From stadium attendees and ticket sellers to the automotive suppliers that make the parts and so on! NASCAR provides jobs for Christians and non Christians and for that I'm thankful!

  • lol look at his fucking cheeks
