!. Manu Chao is one person and main singer of Mano Negra, later solo artist.
2. Mano Negra was the band Manu was part off when they made this song. So, Mano Negra was before Manu Chao went solo.

It's quite amazing how he sounds better in Spanish (at least while singing:) His rolling 'r' fits well in Spanish:) OMG, I just spent a sleepless night listening to this. I'm a big fan of Manu Chao but I am not dismissing Gogol Bordello's cover..It's awesome! It's like a totally different song:)
