Ah, what science would that be. My neice does the same thing but she wears a leotard and marches with the band. This is not kobudo it is baton twirling.

I'd like to see his: "My first LightSaber movie"!

that is insane, the last part in amazingly fast :D and just for the record if i saw a guy doing that with a stick i would think not twice but like 10 times extra before attacking him, so i guess it can prevent combat :)

damn hes fuv=cking good

@billy199733412 and sparky3489 what i say is that children must train hard, and each day harder than the previous, but martial arts include a part of philosophy and a ten y-o child can not assume that knowless, they have enough time to become a black belt and to be great masters. That's why i think that children can not be black belts, because they're NOT at the same level as adult black belts

@MrGuachipei have the children of your dojo crush your nuts. It's an art form you tool. Why don't you go wrestle the bald-headed champion.
-
@MrGuachipei your comment is beyond retarded ;; if I were your child and read this comment, I'd slap some sense into you
-
who gave this kid the black belt? the children of my dojo could crush him and no one of them is over the green belt

This guy is on the oc right??

Trying being the keyword.
He's just a kid, and he's one of the best bo stylists and free-formers in the world.
I agree with Karatevideoguy.
A disservice to the martial arts community? Shut up, swseibukan.
He's taken knowledge of the martial arts and adapted it to suit him, which is what martial arts is about.
Retard.
His staff is made of what wood essence, seems too light to be oak.

It is called a toothpick bo staff and could be made out of any kind of wood.

i have to agree with swseibukan, it is very hard to apply these fancy moves to actual combat. Im not saying that anyone is going to use a bo to fight today, but looking at it traditionaly, spinning and twirling the bo has no or little effect at all
Its more for show, like a baton twirler in a band

What everyone of you fails to understand is that these moves have absolutely nothing to do with combat applications, this is for show. This for competition katas in the extreme or creative divisions. Everyone of you is trying to make it sound like you know everything and you keep missing the point this is not combat and no where does it claim to be so please stop stating the obvious and trying to make yourselves feel superior to this person.
