In this video, Lindy shows off his new parts Tele. The guitar features an ultra lightweight and contoured swamp ash body. It's also sporting an All Parts "Lindy Fralin model" neck. Imagine a '53 Tele "baseball bat" neck and you are in the ballpark. This guitar sounds remarkable with Fralin stock output Tele style replacement pickups. No tricks or gimmicks here, just pure tone! This demo was recorded using a V.V.T. Lindy Fralin model combo amp, rated at 38w and featuring 1-15" Eminence speaker. The mic used was a Sennheiser 609 which was draped in front of the amp, although the lavalier mic that Lindy is wearing is picking up some of the ambient sound from the room. For those curious, the guitar was assembled and finished by Richmond, VA luthier Tommy Rodriguez. Tommy and Lindy are close friends and frequent collaborators. Thanks for watching!

  • It sounds good but I don't know that it sounds any better than my stock 52RI.

  • @ryan06105 So much of the tone is in the wood. Sounds like you have a good one. Lindy

  • I want one just like it! That things sounds great! Is that Nitro paint ?

  • @amplitudedude77 This guitar is great because of the wood. I only weighs 6 pounds and 2 ounces but resonates so well at all of the right frequencies. I put it together for the Tele version of the Split Blades and will be putting them in next week. You will see some more videos of it soon. Lindy

  • Lindy, sell me that guitar.....PLEASE!! Great tone. You know it's loud when you play it acoustically it's that loud. Great combination of wood & pickups!

  • Mr. Fralin, despite living in Argentina, I'm a fan of their pickups. They are really amazing! In my Telecasters: special blues and tele stock model.

Now I'm on the stratocaster pickups. Thanks

  • Sounds great, and i dig the reversed control plate! thats exactly what i do!
