A reading lesson for serious students of English as a second language. In this lesson we look at the advice given by an agony aunt; students are also invited to offer their advice. By following and studying all these videos, students will be able to improve their understanding of written English in a variety of contexts and situations. The aim of these lessons is to provide students with as much variety of reading texts as possible, thus enabling students to develop their skills. Students will be able to read book reviews, car reviews, holiday reviews, technology reviews, restaurant reviews, sports reviews, news in brief, news articles, headlines, topic specific news, what's on columns, sports news, traditions, festivities, heritage, people, folklore, mystery, poetry and verse, short stories, funny stories, instructions, recipes, rules and regulations, games, timetables, road signs, TV listings, forms, car manuals, email, sms, memos, Facebook posts, agony aunts, magazine ads, billboards, small ads, websites, Ebay ads, vouchers, and myriad other texts that students would come across in an English speaking country. It is strongly recommended that students do as many lessons as possible (the more the better) and that they actively contribute to the comments with their homework, which will be corrected.
