If you dont mind me asking Jack, what kind of camera are you using right now, this picture is really great...

The Canon T2i is a good camera. WIth the kit lens and a good 50mm f/1.8 lens, you'll end up spending around $1000. The only downside, is you have no xlr audio inputs, so you'll have to use a 3.5mm audio jack, but there are a fair amount of quality mics that are built for that connection.

The one who loves to make videos for us and the Jack that always make my day a better day when I watch him....

Get a mac :-)

I don't get this Guru guy or why you watch his videos. Are you making movies now?

I use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 that I got from Amazon. The FZ40 and FZ100 are similar. If you check out my videos, the only ones shot with this camera are Parish Picnic and Brigadoon. And Brigadoon was shot from the back of a theater using the zoom and built in mics. I always leave it set on IntelligentAuto, so all I did was focus, although you can set the camera manually if you want to. This is a superzoom/bridge camera that will accept some lenses and filters, but is not actually an SLR.

@ab0kanal I just remembered, that YouTuber 'Guru' seems to have a good camera too. Check out his videos, for instance this one: /watch?v=St_b7_ZxDg0 (entitled 'Gayspiration and answers!').

@ab0kanal (cont) Additionally I'd like to mention, that due to physical/technical reasons good lighting is required for good picture quality. Insufficient lighting (i. e. darkness) adds extra "noise" to the picture. Even an excellent camera can't produce a brilliant picture when the scenery lacks light.
I miss the old jack
