This dudes father is everything that I am in the process of doing, learning to weld and hopefully building and tubbing my own cars and teaching my son the same, Its good to see that people do live dreams. I hope yall build another!!!!!
I got tears in my eyes1 because at least his dad built something and gave it to them2. that they are a black family in drag racing who obviously love each other and who are selfless enough to make the car actually run again3. They are tears of joy as I see the wrecked vega on the trailer but there is a nice riviera in the driveway sittin pretty. 4.That I have my own kids and hopefully I can leave my cars to them 5. Even more tears of joy to hear the driver was alive. Awesome video and music
My very first car was a 77 Vega, puke-brown two door hatchback. Terrible car! There were only two things good I could ever say about it: it got great gas-mileage (when it ran) and it was absolutely guarentted never to be stolen. I even tested that theory once, one night I left the door open, left the keys in the ignition, put a sign on the hood saying "STEAL ME". Next morning I came out and, sure enough, somebody stole the sign. But it was my first. :)
