I think Dave's a bit too laid back for his own good sometimes. I haven't seen him to chat to for a while, I might give him a ring and see what's going on.
i must have missed them 2 acts, must have been some time ago, i've been to every reggae night there over the past 2-3years i think. They definatley get some great acts, i just wish they did it more regular like early 2007, Dave said he had big plans for his buttermarket website with streaming TV of lots of old performances but all this didn't go as planned obviously, and the reggae circuit he set up, what happened to this? i just hope it gets back on track in the future.
Yeah, things are a little slow there nowadays. It used to be a weekly event with a reggae band every couple of months but now it's very sporadic. Bigger names but less often. I hope The Skatalites and Buju return some time.
Me 2! i met cedric+band outside, i usually try to meet the bands there, is a great venue. Just wish they had more reggae on these days, i have offered them contacts for bookings.
