Animal Collective playing Daily Routine live at Pitchfork 2008, in Chicago, IL.
*With this video, as well as my other Animal Collective P4K videos, I would highly suggest you select the "watch in high quality" option before you playing them. Youtube's compression during upload did not do the best job handling the flashing lights in these videos, resulting in more so than usual pixelated vids. This can be remedied somewhat by watching them in "high qaulity."

whats the deal, does AC record all the samples they use on their own? or do they do it with a computer? either way, their orchestration is just brilliant.
... I just sorta miss that intimate feeling you got with sung tongs and danse manatee and stuff... when they utilized mostly live instruments
I wish it sounded and had the same atmosphere as Pitchfork at Rogers Picnic. They felt so... not there in Toronto. I know missing Geologist must've done a number on their songs, but still...
I believe he was sick. It was only Panda Bear and Avey Tare, yes. Panda Bear did Geologist's job and played drums, which made the entire thing seem cluttered and not as cool as it could've been.
I saw AC perform last sunday in toronto. Just before their set, a kid standing beside me was taking massive hoots from his pipe... Then AC came on stage and opened with this song.. The kid was tripping out so much, he could barely stand up. Great song.

I thought it might be Geologist, because they are so intricately coordinated with the music that it couldn't just be any lighting guy.
