maybe 'able' did not comply with the bigot self denying death worshipping power obsessed notions of brother 'cain' who would have everyone be 'ego slaves' like himself?
interesting: 'cain's mark' affords him
'god's' protection. in revelations, where this motif recurs as the 'mark of the beast,' it is again synonymous with self denial, abominable ego worship, deprecation of life.

the story of a 'hate crime,' jealousy given as the motive. it is noteworthy that this is all shown as cain's delusional rationalization of his self-denying, destructive actions. a 'winner' telling his story. i wonder if this relates to 'homo sapiens' and 'homo neanderthalensis'?
