As a private pilot, I always find this kind of crap amusing. Especially given that you ALWAYS carry a mobile in case your radio drops out, at 2,000 feet or so you can get a signal and call the tower rather than relying on a 7700 blast on your transponder and using the force. Everything in a plane is shielded against electronic radiation, primarily because in the air you are exposed to several hundred times the usual amount of radiation. It's as BS as laser pointers 'blinding' pilots.

You're all stupid, its nothing to do with filming and privacy. You are required to switch of ALL electronic devices, whether you think they will interfere or not, during take off and landing. It easier to say all then just confuse everyone and list a million things you have too. By law you must comply with what the airline asks you to do.
