Just Enough -- Your app description should be just enough. Follow "app store convention" and give an intro that describes the app. As the old saying goes "Brevity is the sole of wit." Or if you're not familiar with Shakespeare I could quote The Office. "Remember the acronym, K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid."
K: Keywords -- Use keywords from your industry when describing your app. Don't just put the app icon on your promotional collateral. I know they usually say a picture is worth a thousand words...but ignore that just this once and trust me...an Icon is NOT.
L: Listen -- Be attentive to what others are saying. Get feedback from attendees. I know you probably have amazing ideas, but if you really listen to people it'll only benefit your ideas. I'm not saying you need to take notes, honestly that'd be a little creepy. Just listen and learn and incorporate that in to your sponsored mobile application.
