with lyrics. Taken from "Folk Songs of Olde England". Tim incorrectly pronounces Keighley (Key-ley instead of Keith-ley) in the third verse. Re-recording would not have helped since Tim didn't realise his mistake until after the album was released.

  • My Favourite folk song of all time but then I am Yorkshire born and bred

  • Sounds grand to me but what do I know I'm Irish

  • Glad you two sorted that out - would seem a shame when there's Tim and Mad to listen to... :-)

  • @hejafish No worries, mate. :p

  • @hairinmyEYES Sorry... I was in a bit of a mood this morning!! I shouldn't start arguments with people who clearly have a good taste in music!! :)

  • @hejafish Lived in Sheffield for five years. My comment was mainly about the mispronounciation of Keighley.

  • @hairinmyEYES slightly rubbish Yorkshire towns? Have you visited Yorkshire?

  • Beautiful adaption, even if he doesn't know his slightly rubbish yorkshire towns as well as I'd like. :p
