just reliving my mother's own way of making this common rice cake!BIKO in a Pilipino language, famed moslty on occasions like christmas,or new year or even birthdays or fiestas or for me if i have time anytime heheheh!!

its commonly on top of the table because of its easy way to prepare, as if that you're just only cooking rice and add a brown sugar or a panutsa (sugar cane un-fortified natural sugar)squeezed that coconut scrapes to have gata(coconut milk)pour in and thats it!you're ready to face the battle between you and your big pan!!hahahahaha!
(nalapnos kaya kamay ku sa kakahalu diyan!!pero sulet ha?)

  • @rancissjosh panutsa iyon o yung tinatawag naming tinaklob or kariba!katumbas iyon ng brown sugar,pang natural color na rin ng sinaing na malagkit!

  • dati natatandaan ko noon naisulat ko yang gamut-gamutan ng Inang sa kwaderno, kaso naiwan ko na sa tagal ng panahon, sayang maganda sanang basahing muli,,,ang Inang maria rin ang taga=translate ko noon ng malalalim na talasalitaan sa Pilipino, wala pong mintis mga turo nya=)..kakagising ko lang, napagod sa dty kanina tulad nyo maraming gawain,,,

  • indigestion @DrChefPayatas ....kunwari nasobrahan kain nyo ng watermelon, yung balat noon iihawin, papakuluan sa banga iinumin at doon ikukulob...at sabay calos with banga at sandok...seremonya ng Inang maria....sa tyan kung masakit...maginit ng dahong maria at luya at saka ibalot sa tyan o sikmura...ilan sa mga natutunan ko po=] lol! o ayan, mala-albularya na yata ako.Pag may pilay hilot ang tatawagin, naku ganyan naman ang uso po noon mga hilot, at herbal medicine.
