Permian is like the Notre Dame of HS football. People in Massachusetts and California know who the Permian Panthers are, no one outside of Texas knows about Longview, Allen, or Midland Lee.

idk lol i dont realy think much of it lol but my football coach from hood says we should be proud to become permian football players when we get older so it must be a pretty big thing

it feels a little different knowing that your living in a town that everybody knows about! & going to Phs just gives you braggin rights to say "yeah our school was in a movie, what about yours" haha. i love living here (:
