I played the PC version when I was a little kid, and this was my favorite level.

I hate how difficult this game is. It's not a fair difficult, either. Due to the size of the sprites and the window you can see the game, many of the obstacles that come up do happen to come up rather quickly, making it a trial and error affair.
A fantastic thing Origins did in such segments, the camera pans out, giving you a far more acceptable window to see upcoming obstacles.

@ArtaniakaMafi Anguish Lagoon I think. It's in Part 2 of the playthrough. It's a fair bit through the level.
