This is a test of the new YouTube 1080p format. With any luck, those of you that have HD monitors will notice the difference between this and my previous videos' quality. Also, his smile at the end is a bit... creepy.
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think. If you guys can handle this new resolution, I might be able to record future videos this way. If my hard drive is big enough.
then what did you recorded with. fraps?

No, I just used the startmovie command in the console.

what type of file was it that you uploaded to youtube

I used VirtualDub to create an AVI file, then Sony Vegas to create a WMV to reduce filesize without much detriment to quality. It doesn't look nearly as good on YT as it does on my computer, but I'm sure they're still working out the kinks in their system. As far as I can tell, all videos uploaded are converted internally to MP4s.

Sorry guys. I ran it at 1920x1080 on all max settings. I used the startmovie/endmovie commands. That's why the embarassing framerate counter at the top right is so low. It actually was running at that rate while recording - it just looks nice as a final product. Except for those jaggies. Stupid YT compression.
