@jaworskij Recently I actually 'landed' on Titan and walked around a bit...Didn't see any life forms, but the ground was rocky like on Mars.

Thru trance state (mind), consciously I can travel to Mimas and Titan ...one time it took 15 mins. the other time about 1 hour... Faster than any NASA ship. All you have to do is find a room where you can be in pitch black darkness. Then just stare at the darkness....In a few minutes you'll start to see moving starfield, then your spirit guides, and then do space travel...all in your mind.

Poster: "I bought this model because it has a CCD sensor" ... Ummm, hate to break it to 'ya, but ALL camcorders have a CCD in them. All of them.

It can be a real pain in the arse tracking with a Dob. Good efforts though.
Have a look at my channel for some of mine.

@AlienStephmother This is an Airy disc, it is an out-of-focus bright star at high zoom. We use it to check the alignment of the optics and the seeing conditions. The concentric rings are a diffraction effect, the closer the optics are aligned, the more concentric the circles are. In a perfect sky there would be no shimmering, as you can see in this video seeing conditions were quite bad and it is difficult to see the rings.

I bought a JVC lo-lux video camera to use with my 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. I am just waiting for clear skys to test it out. I will post my video then. I also downloaded a video stacking program to see how still pictures will look off the video. Good job, you got my hopes up on using my video camera. :-)

@spellbinder00 I think you will be as pleasantly surprised as me! The only 2 snags I found we that handheld is not an option, it really needs to be attached to the ocular and the Sony camera of mine records in some weird format that Registax wont open, so it needs to be converted first. I look forward to your results with baited breath :)
