LA and NYC are so drastically different. All of the office space in Midtown Manhattan is around the same amount of office space in all of LA county. NYC is extremely dense thus making the city look more grand with all the highrises so close together. There are 6,000 buildings in NYC while there are only 600 in LA. New York is great and an "All-American City" but at the end of the day I'm going to pick LA since that is where I grew up and since I am passionate about the area especially downtown!

@Kenny3821 Being From LA, you can't compare the cities. They are both great. LA has shitty traffic, its pretty ghetto, has millions of illegal immigrants, and is hard to get around if you have no car. LA has better weather, and a cooler vibe to it, its a toss up but at the end up the day NYC takes the cake, its Americas city come one now. Still love LA though haha
