I've spent the whole morning listening to versions of this song from Paint Your Wagon, some good, some pretty bad. But this version is REALLY GOOD. Maybe Frankie Lane (in his prime, not like his 1998 version) or even Tex Ritter would have done it like this, & that's quite a compliment.

These guys are amazing. The guy with bass voice is a pure joy to listen to.

Always loved this song since my mother dragged us to see 'Paint Your Wagon'. This version is pretty spectacular. The harmonies are right on.

I luv these guys... I have to have my yearly fix of them.... but the problem is I yearn to visit them up at their ranch about five or six times a year... The beautiful Teton's call at the same time... I just need to move up there with them..

Boy did I screw that one up. It was Presnell...... Hey I only allow myself one mistake every seven years. Trouble is, now I can't make another mistake till the year 3175

@eddvoss Wrong! It was Harve Presnell......... sorry!

This guy could compete with Howard Keel who sang this song in the movie Paint Your Wagon.

This is really fine. Excellent voice, instrumentals, and they don't do anything stupid or distracting with the tempi. Nice work!
I was there for the first time last weekend and at the end of dinner I had to run out to the truck for something and as I went through the breezway, an older gentleman asked me if I enjoyed my dinner. I told him the steak was excellent and then I asked him if he worked at the ranch. He said,"well, sort of" I told him they needed tabasco sauce on the tables. Then when the show began I found out he was the owner... Seemed like a nice gentleman. We all very much enjoyed the evening. Thanks Babe
