This is purely for fun an out of boredom. I used Redrock adapter before with cameras like Sony Z1, Canon A1 etc, but never with something as small as Xacti. So there it is 720p footage I took in the garden, there is no sound and no meaning to it, just testing the depth of field and what this camera can do.
The result looks pretty good to me. There was no significant vignetting and the image was sharp. How did I set up the adapter? Have a look at the picture of the rig, I connected Sanyo to:
40.5mm -52 step up ring
52mm -55 step up ring
55mm - 72 step up ring
Redrockmicro HD Achromatic lens
72mm - 55mm step down ring
and finally
Redrock micro adapter

with this setup I had to zoom xacti all the way to the end and it focused on the ground glass perfectly! It took me a while to figure out the right distance from the xacti to the adapter but above setup works great.

Problems: screen is upside down - and it is tricky to film. Xacti doesn't have video out so I can't use any external monitor... If I had Micro X flip module, that would sort me out, but unfortunately I haven't got one.

Enough technical gibberish, by doing this simple test I just wanted to point out that even with amateur cameras like Xacti you can achieve professional look of your video. If you really want one, that is.

I would have tried to film something with full 1080 but all my software crashes when I try to touch it later. Not sure why...
