Are you remodeling your home? Our friends Steve and JD did a great looking renovation. What made it something special was the fact that it was done using green home products and environmentally friendly processes. Reusing what they could, recycling what they didn't need, FSC Certified wood, reclaimed flooring, soy based wall insulation, solar water heating and electricity, recycled rubber roofing, and the list goes on and on. We documented the progress over a year, and put together a 17 minute video from start to end of the construction. Hope you enjoy "Building Green"

  • I'm thoroughly impressed. The story is well told, instructive, inspiring, well shot and cut, plus nice soundtracking. I'm about to watch part 2...do you have a broadcaster? This should definitely on the air. Where is this home located?

  • Thanks, the home is in Arlington, Virginia. We tried to get commercial broadcast, but most are looking for a series not an individual piece. Anyway, thanks for the kind words.

  • Maybe if I could get foster kids I wouldn't have to work... aether and I could fix up my whole home... and make a youtube movie about it...

    ....... disgusting...

  • They are not... they broke the law... something you would have been thrown in jail for...

The kind of people take others kids to financially fund there personal projects... don't think about things before they do it. They just do it... the system let them... why should they be worried..

  • Hey! Those adoption benefits are really paying off! Now we can go green! Thanks Sabrina!

  • going green can save tons of money each year! If you are interested in running your car on water and saving on electricity bill you should check out my link on my profile!

  • Obviously shows more bias by the court toward the foster parents and against the biological parents! How dare they try to infringe on freedom of speech?

  • That's terrible! It seems that the system has very low standards for foster parents, compared to the unreasonably high standards they hold for natural parents! I'm so sorry that your foster parents abused you and then protected them from being sued.

  • I'm so sorry to hear that!

  • In Arlington, Virginia.

  • where is this being taped?
