I saw the Strawberry Alarm Clock themselves perform this "live" on "The Groovy Show" from Santa Monica Beach [on the sand!] in September of 1967.
Well, they actually just "lip synched" it, common for TV in those days.
But judging from their "off camera" banter, it would have been a miracle if they could have sung it at all!
