It took me over 20 years to reach a goal of having a truly great computer of my own. It was a 2 CPU dual core xeon processor Mac Pro and was the most amazing thing I ever owned, Then someone stole it along with over 10K $ of family items. The insurance policy would not cover a burglary. I doubt I will ever be able to get another computer like that again and I just want to give up on trying. It a real shame.
