make a small wagon and put the pusher on the wagon so you have storage and power:)

@jons68 I made a home made trike and pulled it behind my truck and it was scary just going 20km...

great job man I built one last winter and she goes well im thinken of puting a torque converter on it. Oh and a useful tip for a chain tensioner use a old skate wheel. I did works awesome

awesome job, Im going to build one of these and I like the design layout on this, not sure why it would chew up the tire unless it spins a lot during take off? I seen them mounted on the seat post and yours being mounted on the wheel bolts which might offer a more stable ride since the push would be more lower on the bike. any thoughts?

Great Invention !!!
.
However is hard to see the benefits as this think is no longer a Bicycle , It become a slow Motor - cycle as it now as full engine
.
You would probably have to register as Motorbike and also have license for the type of engine you got
.
My suggestion is, get a electric hub which are discrete , Noise free , and you can pass under the radar , speeds also , are vey impressive

I love your video.

CRAP!!
What is it with you unconscious engineers?
Viewers want details. DETAILS!! How was the engine frame fabricated? What materials? Bushings? Clutches? Muffler? Pictures. Video. DESCRIPTIONS!!
Watching some numb nut scoot up & down a back street is about as informative as watching some kid in kindergarten playing scribbling on the walls with crayons.
Thanks for wasting everyone's time. ):0

HI guys but you are missing the point, do not contaminate the environment and use electric batteries or new ideas....your ideas is nice, but improve it not using GAS.
Blessings

Very cool. I can understand too slow comments, it's just tall geared. As it should be that way you can pedal assist.
Most police in most countries need to be relied upon for their sense of humor when approaching powered bicycles. Generally they cause little offense and should be treated with respect by rider and constabulary.

@PalmyBruce As for it jacknifing, not really. The device is attached on both sides on the frame of the bike, it's not swiveled-hinged like a regular trailer.
to slow

Do you mean "Too slow?"
I've been gps clocked at 38mph; that's frightening on that bike. It's got lots of speed left to go. I like to pedal while it runs but I often run out of gears.
When I made the video, I was limited in the road space that I had and the traffic in the area.
Oh, and up hills, (lar5220) it's fine. The biggest issue is that it eats the back tire quite quickly. I built it because I have a LONG hill on the way back from work.

I always wentt under the assumption that they are legal, until they aren't. I have never been stopped on the roads where I live, and I have driven right by the police.
