I just have to say i really respect the Nebraska football program. By far one of the most storied programs if not the most storied in college football. They helped make college football what it is today. They did things the right way. They were in all defintions a team. They didn't always get the best recruits, but they complimented the good recruits with a great walk on program. Its simple. Steve Pederson. He destroyed NU football. We had three championship coaches on our team, two after they left. Frank Solich. Bo Pelini (LSU) Turner Gill (Buffalo). Now Imagine if he would have hired Bo Pelini or Turner Gill as head coach after Solich. We would have stayed in the top ten for sure! The option would still be dominating college football! @bwad40 Your whole statement is pretty much irrelevant right now conerning Nebraska. They look forward, not backward and losing a football game is not the end of the world. One win or loss does not define a program. The overall history of the program does that.
