@MrRavAndTheFools true. and for floyd to change his game up like that and be so successful at it really says something about his skill.

@bhopisback Hey, you might be absolutely right, but from what I've heard, Gary has so called T-rex arms (short arms) which might be one of the reason why he has blindingly fast hand speed. Just for references on Gary's reach, please follow

@MrJourneyman1986 u forgot roy jones hes prob the fastest to ever lace up gloves

He has that confidence and timing. Somebody mentioned Amir Kahn Artist ,and Gamboa . Gamboa is nice but Amir Kahn has speed but no defense no head movement. This kid he's a prospect its still determind to be seen what kind of impact he will have in the game. But i love his confidence he is very relaxed he doesn't waist unnecessary energy. He through shots that count. All that Sugar Ray project slap boxing pitty pat is ineffective. Look at Meldrick Taylor Chavez , Taylor has the quickest hand s

I'm waiting for him to fight someone at least average.

he pulls his shots back to look fast like alexander..anyone can do that, his speed is good but overated, clearly not the fastest, khan, gambo, floyd are speed demons at WORLD LEVEL..were is his fast movement and footspeed like gamboa and khan? he has a very suspect style, any boxer mover with some speed will beat this type of style anyday of the week cos he is very short,he wont be able to operate from range against guys slightly taller, most guys are taller than him at his weight so we'l see

i would love to see gamboa vs russell!

so far gary has been given non but cannon fodder! now is the time to match him up against someone who actually punches back ! gary so far in his performance has been stellar! ... but i wanna c more i wanna see if his ambitious .

@NhatAttack You got to love the defense and how he counters off of it. His footwork is also outstanding. He mixes his punching power well too, so that he should remain dangerous for a full ten round fight. A lot to like about this kid.
I thought Gary's reach was 61". Why does the tale of tape read 68" for his reach?

@jacob123JS 61" has to be a mistake wherever you saw it. I'm not sure how accurate 68" is either but my guess would be that's it's closer to that. From my observation you don't see too many fighters with reach less than their height (in inches), especially a difference of 5" which I'm not sure I've ever seen.
