Spent a while in Rochelle and during a 4-hour span I caught 17 trains on video. Was quite a spectacular day in terms of traffic. Anyway, I saw this beast rolling west and couldn't remember ever seeing so many locomotives at once. Hope you enjoy it.
What is that thing you're standing on?.....is it a wall that is higher than the gass in the foreground? Because the folks sitting in the grass look much lower than whatever that is the camera is on.
@JetMechMA I was standing on a retaining wall that holds the viewing area up even with the cabs of the locomotives. My camcorder used here (I've just purchased a new one recently) has survived two falls off this retaining wall.
The overload in power was not really an overload, If you'll notice, the front 3 locomotives were the only ones active. I do believe they were moving motive power into the newer Intermodal yard 2 miles down the track.

Why the overload in power? I like the 2 ex-SP units in the mix. One of a kind shot! Thanks for sharing.
