On August 25th, 2008, The PS22 Chorus made its way for the first time to Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center, joining the list of important musicians to perform on this legendary stage.

Here is Joni Mitchell's classic song "Circle Game" which is just one of the best songs ever written.

  • I notice you keep making excuses for the kids. "they haven't sang this in 3 months" or "they JUST learned this today" or whatever. Stop. It detracts from the performance.

  • you mistake 'making excuses' for just being proud. i think it's fair and appropriate to point out something i see as an accomplishment.

  • Are you guys in school year-round or was it just that easy to round everyone up for this performance? I've listened to most of your songs and they are so beautiful. If I could get them on my iPod I'd be a happy person. For now, I'll visit your blog and YouTube for the latest from PS 22. Tell them they're pretty awesome kids.

  • will do, and thanks!! :) by the way, there are mp3s on the chorus' blog for your iPod. :)

  • Nice but the best cover was by buffy Sainte Marie.

  • we'll happily defer to buffy.... ;)

  • Gorgeous harmonies.

  • Look at these beautiful faces. They make all politics seem petty, stupid, mean and hateful. Real life has no time for adult games. Childhood passes too swiftly.

  • That was pretty good I am singing that in my school

  • this is one of my favorite songs from my childhood. i remember learning it during song session at sleepaway camp when I was about your students' age. this version is beautiful and really takes me back to that time in my life. thank you.

  • This really is one of the greatest songs ever written. I'm so happy to see your moving freely and not "look straight ahead, hands to your sides" like my choir teacher taught us. Kids should be kids. Congratulations from the Philippines on all your accomplishments.

  • one of the most lovely songs in the world :]]

its awesome with young people's voices, since its about the whirlwind changes in life through time....and the harmony gives me goosebumps, its so lovely :] you guys just made my day =D

  • Beautiful.
