[Note: this song (the original) does not come from the Louvin Brothers album 'Satan is Real,' but I had to include that cover for John's shirt to be given some context.]

This is a live recording of CAKE's rare and unreleased (so far) cover of the classic country song "You're Learning", originally written and recorded by The Louvin Brothers. Funny thing about CAKE covers: they're just so damn catchy! I've seen a lot of people ask, "Where can I hear this?" (Hell, some people don't even know about it.) So here it is!

This was recorded live at Café du Nord on December 26th, 2003.

Audio quality - not the best, I know. It's all I had, though. Feel free to contact me or just upload your own if you have a higher quality version of the song. Thanks.

ok, cake is doing an unreleased song on their current tour called "hold you" (or at least that's what i'd have to guess by the chorus)... anyone know where to find this song?

Sign up for their mailing list. They're gonna be providing ringtones of the new songs to subscribers "soon." The first one will be culled from "Long Time." No word on how long it will be, but I'm guessing 20-30 seconds. The full version of any of their new songs are not available at this time.
