Wow, this is pretty fast cutting for 1931, at least based on what I've seen from that period. I didn't think anyone was doing stuff this fast then. It's not Tex Avery or anything, but it's still pretty brisk.
I thought perhaps I was the only one who remembered Scrappy and Krazy Kat! I also grew up on these 1930's cartoons, although I was born in 1954, but I never thought I would ever see any of them again. This is a treat!

Gotta remember the definition of "scrappy". THe little guy who wins over the bigger guys because he's got the will. Because he's scrappy.
