The more I run the car, make changes and shake it down the more I like the way it handles...
Today, I suppose I found the extremes...
The first four videos are with 225/45/15 Hoosier R3S05's out back and 225/45/16 Good Year Eagle F1's in front, at lunch I swapped em front and rear and made drastic tire pressure changes.
I've figured out quite a bit about quick setup/handling changes just by changing the tire pressures.
Each time out it was basically a different car, I was changing the boost pressure, and tire pressure in between each round as an experiment in various set-ups.
As always, its a work in progress, and I think I did pretty well for a 1983 Volvo with a welded differential, cut springs and stock (original) shocks.
You really should stop the one hand steering. Horrible for any type of motorsports

This car is badass. I also own an '83 Volvo 240 Turbo, and have also autocrossed it on original shocks and struts (with ~240k miles on them, hahaha). They were totally blown, and the car leaned like the titanic, but it was loads of fun.
This car doesn't have much body roll for just cut springs - what size sway bars do ya have? And how are you liking the welded diff? I've thought about welding mine, but it's my daily so I think I might go with a modded G80 or a truetrac if I can find the money.

Sounds good your 242 hulls ass. What are the specs? Also how do you prevent oil starvation in all of those high rpm turns? Do you have a crank scraper installed?
