It works in a motor. (inductive loads) HOWEVER, it does not work with capacitive loads WHICH are commonly found in households

Actually volts x amps = volt-amps. Power = volts x amps x pf. pf (power factor) is the ratio of watts/volt-amps. The unit is a capacitor which only supplies VARS to the system. You reduce the VARS and yes you reduce current. But when you reduce the current, the pf goes up so watts remain the same! You only pay for watts in a residence and not VARS or volt-amps. Therefore the product is a scam and WILL NOT reduce your electric bill in a residence!

actually, power which is measured in watts equals voltage(V) times current(A). So Power=VI, so u have 2 variables, u reduce the current, u reduce the power, u reduce ur electric bill!

Yeah you are reducing amps but you are NOT reducing watts. Too bad that in a residence you pay for watts not amps. In other words this won't save you a dime!
This is TRASH.
