Watch Anoushka Shankar speak about her debut album "Traveller" on Deutsche Grammophon. Embracing the heritage of flamenco from its origins in India to home in Spain, Anoushka Shankar creates a sound that is fresh, distinctive, and fascinating.

Anoushka Shankar is established as one of today's leading performers − blending Indian and Western classical music, flamenco, jazz, and numerous other influences. An international name, she has performed with such stars as Joshua Bell and Mstislav Rostropovich − and as guest appearances on albums by Sting, Herbie Hancock, and others.

Also appearing are the renowned flamenco artists Sandra Carrasco and Duquende (vocal), Pepe Habichuela (guitar), El Piraña (percussion), and the Hindustani classical music artist Shubha Mudgal.
