this is a video love letter collage to amanda and tristan from the hungarian film & theater director jános szász.
jános and tristan met in boston on the same night amanda & tristan wrote this four-handed duet together...
amanda & tristan then named their piece in honor of the great director (the title is a nod to the play he was presenting at the american repertory theater, "alice vs wonderland").

jános has made many films, including "Eyes of the Holocaust", a documentary film about the Hungarian holocaust produced by Steven Spielberg for the Shoah Foundation.

download the duet today (and get the entire debut album later this week) at http://music.amandapalmer.net
additionally, on december 12th, Berklee Performance Center is hosting "An Evening With Amanda Palmer and Tristan Allen" - join them as they celebrate the release of tristan's record with performances, Q&As, signings, and more. tickets available at http://bit.ly/TRISTANtix

  • I think the music was absolutely wonderful, but the video didn't do very much at all for me.

  • @marguipico

If it is any consolation, the audio is available on afp.net without the clicks.

  • this is why i love the piano.

truly amazing, that such masterpieces are still being created in the world. reminded me of philip glass at part. still, just... -no words-

the video is a work in itself. the imagery just fits so well.

I really can't wait to hear more from Tristan :)

  • @keatonatwork

    Me too :/

  • Loved the music and video, but I kept getting these odd clicks in the playback. Not sure if they were intentional or not.
