"Moonlight Bay"
Goldie & the Gingerbreads was an American rock band from 1962 to 1967. They were the first all-female rock band signed to a major record label. Whereas most female bands were ignored by the big record labels and rarely attracted live audiences, the quartet of Ginger Bianco, Margo Lewis, Carol MacDonald and Genya Ravan were among the first to break into a domain dominated by men. They were signed to Decca in 1963 and to Atlantic in 1964.
In 2007, the GLBT Historical Society honored drummer Ginger Bianco for her accomplishments at their annual Gala.
Great record. The title is SONG OF THE MOON, and it's the b-side of their 1967 single on Atco, WALKING IN DIFFERENT CIRCLES. Need a full Goldie & The Gingerbreads CD released.

I have a huge collection of Goldie and the Gingerbreads photos, news clippings, as well as a tour book from when they toured with the stones back in the 60's. All the rolling stones signed it. Let me know if you are interested.

Oh my... I feel proud to have written the German original of the Wikipedia-article, that the excerpt is taken from.
Funny, how such things begin a life of their own... Now we have "Goldie and the Gingerbreads", "TWD" and "Isis", as well as a little solo-Genya. Anyone for Richard Perry's "Escorts" and Patsy Cole?
