I'm going to do something krazy with my grand Marquis I was thinking of 5.4 or from the ford lighting

how much does the whole new engine cost?

@cabuzzi I was just thinking of doin the 5.0 Coyote swap to my 2006 V6 mustang, is there any videos of the swap you were talkin about? Do you know any details about the swap?

Lockouts are for aggressive cams. If you stick with stock cams, you will not need them, regardless of HP.

I purchased the first engine from Certified Auto Recyclers. The guys are great. The first engine had a broken starter bracket. They shipped me another one free-of-charge. I think the guy you’d want to talk with is Roy… IIRC. I purchased everything I needed to build up that block from MMR, but had multiple problems with the heads (3 engine failures before the cause was figured out). MMR has since replaced the engine with a forged 1000 HP shortblock with warranty.
Good Job man the car sounds awesome, I would like to see it after the turbo gets installed

was there any problems with the mustang v6 computer hooked up to a v8 /

As far as I know, there is no way to make the V6 PCM work. I used a V8 PCM (from an 06 GT). Doug at BamaChips even tried to make the V6 PCM work (so PATS would work), but it was a no-go.
