publicDomain: Day Two Complete Data Set

this movie chronicles stills from the second day of capture from my intervention/visual study called publicDomain. a screen capture is executed every 30 seconds and assembled using movie software.

publicDomain is an interventionist activity leveraging Etherpeg (http://etherpeg.org), the open source software that looks for the transmission of .jpeg and .gif files as they are sent over the public wireless system in the art history lecture hall at San Jose State. the images are collaged showing a real time visual study of the art history lectures on a screen outside the lecture hall.

i am interested in the visual plane of the higher ed academic arena and comparative analysis of varying dept.s such as the visualization of the Engineering Dept versus the School of Art and Design. Or the 3rd Floor vs. the Eighth Floor of the Martin Luther King Jr. Library
