  • excellent playing demo from KelmOne who has also modded the appearance of their unit to make it look really retro. We rarely add video reponses but this is very good, check it.

  • Hey, sounds great. I was just wondering, I'm looking at getting myself an analogue delay for ~$100. I'm looking at the EHX Memory Boy and Toy, and this, and I was wondering whether you had any experience with either of the EHX pedals. I'm going for that classic U2/The Edge sound, which of course EHX can get, but I'm debating whether the added features of the Behringer make it a better pick, and whether it can get that sound. What are your thoughts? Great demo again by the way.

  • @Gyrofist1 - not sure of the edge's rig except he uses a roland sde isnt it?- one thingto bare in mind: the importance of the delay being in-sync with the tempo of the song to get U2 rythmic delay.. so praps one of the behringer delays which allows you to set the tempo by holding down the pedal for 2 seconds and then doing tap-tempo with your foot. check the delay reviews maybe - the echo machine is my fav. awesome delay pedal for cheap. if it dies buy another they are so cheap

  • @seagreenyweeny sure there is: don't support shitty companies that steal designs and make ghetto knockoffs.

  • what chords r u playing dude

  • @natrockskate As far as reverb and delay pedals go, the pedal effects whatever the input signal might be, be it guitar, bass, keyboard, or electric kazoo.

  • With the new EHX XO stuff being surface mount, there's no reason not to buy one of these over a DMM now.

  • to quote the other guy down there "does it work with bass?"

  • Sounds cheap

  • @Shaharazad221 I opened it up and I think the pedal itself is set up for true bypass functionality. However, I think it may just be a case of not high-end hardware that sucks the high end a touch. A bit like how really inexpensive instrument cable can dampen your tone a bit.

  • I bought this. Going to give my honest opinion.

It is a beautiful effect. It works well, and has rich and warm delay trails.

My only real gripe with it is that it is not true bypass. I see some claiming that it's true bypass, but it clearly does a little tone sucking around the high end when not engaged. For such a low price, it is not a deal breaker, but I feel that people need to know the truth all the same.
