Bolton and Van Susteren are absolutely correct in their analyses. As the Congressional Research Service has correctly concluded, Zelaya was removed legally. No coup ever took place. Period.
The poor country of Honduras stood up to Chavez. The Marxist movement could not take hold here, even though Obama and the US State Department have been trying to force it upon Honduras since before the events of June 28.
Honduras has corruption, but they truly believe in democracy, peace, and freedom.

IMO, Bolton either can't hide the contempt he has for the rights of the governed & Rule of Law OR he is too self-righteously arrogant & full of himself to even try. His is the face of a self-proclaimed member of the ruling elite serving the ends of religious vanity & corporate power. As a technocrat & apologist for Empire & neoliberalism, he accepts the class priveleges of honorary status, displaying it proudly as an earned entitlement. That is the basis for his smug condescension of the public.
