This panel discussion was held on Thursday, January 28th 2010 in the Darden School's Abbott Auditorium. An excellent panel of faculty, alumni, and philanthropic leaders provided insight into the economic and social backdrop of Haiti shared cutting-edge information on the economic redevelopment of the country. Also examined were the implications of this event for how the business community and the Darden community respond to similar crises. The panel included: Martin Davidson, Associate Professor, Associate Dean & Chief Diversity Officer, Darden School of Business; Erika James, Bank of America Research Associate Professor, Darden School of Business; Carolyn Miles 88, EVP & COO of Save the Children, and Darden Trustee; Jack Stoner, President and Founder, Building Goodness; Robert Fatton, Julia Cooper Professor of Politics, Associate-Dean for Graduate Programs, University of Virginia; Robert A. Freling, Executive Director, Solar Electric Light Fund; and Paul Harper 05, Director of Diversity Programming at Darden, serviing as Moderator.
