I was routing to the wrong place apparently.. I was trying to route from kong to the mixer, that did not work. But when I routed to Audio I/O, it worked then.. thanks for your help. I do hope this is the right way to do it...

@AppleXModz by dragging the clip while keeping the alt key pressed, you can duplicate any number of clips that way. very useful

@RSnerd1233 using f4 you can pop up the keyobard (alt+f4) and you can trigger the pads from there. you can reprogram the keys in the settings menu.

Any chance you would be kind enough to tell me how to route individual pads to ableton live 8? I am having some real difficulty trying to figure this out. Primarily because I am a newb at reason 5. I decided to go the matrix route, but that still doesnt help me route to individual tracks to ableton via rewire. Any ideas? Thx.

@eyePWNThisChannel the closest you can get to doing that would be with the outputs at the back. they are paired up 3-4, 5-6, ... 15-16. then, on each individual pad, beneath the two effect modules, you get the pull down menu to select which of the outputs you want that pad to generate sound. sadly, you don't have enough outputs for 16 pads, but its still pretty cool... hope it helps!
