  • when i reed what critics think about this music and this period of miles production i allways think that those idiots should find a real work... probabily all them wanted to be a musician but they can't play even in playback!! all they can do is say bullshit...

  • This album is so unique. I never get tired of listening to it.

nothing else sounds quite like it. And it was so put down

when it came out. It is an amazing work of art. And I would say,

    a master piece.

  • Michale Henderson on wah-wah bass

  • who was on bass for this? I need a drink after listening to this.

  • @MrFpenteado All I could offer would be I don't know of ANY avantgarding who could grasp or own the idea of rhythm being such an integral part. Miles made it HIS OWN>>>and NO ONE elses !!!

  • @MarkusAudio Amazing, isn't it. I don't even consider the fuckers anymore. If it sounds good to you, it is good.

  • @quazichimp Agreed Mr. Chimp!!!

  • The foundation is BITCHES BREW. PerryCox's suggestions above are spot on...get them quickly. My other suggestion is SOUNDTRACK TO JACK JOHNSON. While were talking about the groove (lets bury the "fusion" label) kudos to the timekeeper, Mr. Michael Henderson, Bass Guitar. I daresay if not for him, Miles ....who knows what Miles would have done. He obviously picked Michael for THE reason. Same goes for PETE COSEY, guitarist on much of this work. Check him out on youtube. You wont be disaptd.

  • Keep this music alive.

  • The highhat work on this album is syncopated sizzle--polyrhythmic sickness.
