Elizabeth is best known for her 2006 memoir "Eat Pray Love," which chronicled her journey alone around the world, looking for solace after a difficult divorce. The book was an international bestseller, and inspired a movie, starring Julia Roberts. The book became so popular that Time Magazine named Elizabeth one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

In 2010, Elizabeth published a follow-up called "Committed," a memoir which explored her ambivalent feelings about the institution of marriage. The book immediately became a number one New York Times bestseller.

Spruce TV is delighted to share these clips from our interview with Elizabeth.

  • Thank you very much for posting this clip on You Tube. I have been a huge fan of Elizabeth Gilbert since I read a copy of Eat, Pray, Love a few months ago. I of course got the other memoir: Committed. And I have always wondered how her husband Felipe looks like. Is he the man we see at 0:36? All of her messages are convincing and meaningful. I enjoy seeing other clips featuring her these days.

Let me express my thanks to you.

A Great Fan of Liz Gilbert from Japan.
